Woodstock has a student grants programme. Most grant recipients come from families involved in service to the community. We want to ensure that students who are well qualified and could benefit from a Woodstock education and make a significant contribution to our community are not disadvantaged for reasons of finance. Woodstock has a commitment to economic diversity among the student body.
Grants are awarded as a percentage of the annual fee, the amount being in accordance with the ranges approved by the Board of Directors. Applications for new grants are considered at the time of application for enrollment. The Admissions Committee first makes a determination about the suitability of the candidate for a place at Woodstock, and then the Grants Committee makes a further decision about the award of a grant.
The Grants Committee is not bound to meet the full, declared financial need of a family, but will make an offer in its best judgment within the School's available resources. The following considerations will be taken into account when determining whether a grant is to be made and the amount offered:
- The Grant Committee's assessment of the candidate
- The priority of the application
- The financial status of the family
- The Grants budget available and budget utilization at the time.
If you would like your child to be considered for a grant please email us and an application will be sent to you.
