Estates & Projects
The Estates Department is the the backbone of the school. It is responsible for looking after the smooth running and maintenance of the school's electrical & water supply, as well as carrying out routine maintenance across all of the buildings on campus. Woodstock's maintenance staff includes electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, masonry and steel workers. Also included in Estates is the hospitality department, which, amongst other duties, ensures that staff houses are well-prepared for new occupants each summer.
The projects department works with the school's building construction projects, including student, staff and employee residences and school & administrative buildings. Recent projects have included new staff housing at Abergeldie, the new gymnasium and the new hostel. The projects department works with the school administration and with major donors from initial planning through to completion and handover of the project.
