Football at Hanson Field. A dance in the new Hostel common room. A hike to Pepperpot Cave. Debating world issues in the Model UN. Basketball in the gym. Planting trees on the hillside. Concocting a meal together in the dorm. Student life at Woodstock School is rich and full.
There are numerous academic and co-curricular activities for students to be involved in. Some will test and extend their intellectual capacity; others will expose them to less privileged members of our community, and teach them to serve. Some will help them develop a love for the environment in which we live. Others are just plain fun. Whatever your interest, there is something at Woodstock for you.
Woodstock's gymnasium is one of the finest of any school in India. Listed alongside you can browse a list of the sports, games and fitness programmes on offer. Woodstock teams compete against local and more distant teams in athletics, basketball, cricket, cross-country, football and more.
Monthly chapels are unapologetically Christian, and are geared towards our multi-age, multi-faith audience, with good music, engaging presenters and lots of student involvement. For those who are Christians and seeking to grow in their faith, the school offers a range of voluntary groups and events. At the same time, we seek to support those of other faiths in their observances, particularly at the time of special festivals.
Many of our alumni regard the years spent sharing their lives with friends from other cultures, countries and religions as amongst their most formative. Residence life is eating, working and playing together, building relationships, sharing Maggi noodles and just hqanging out. Residence staff are there to help that growth - from sponging cuts and drying tears, to sitting late into the night exploring life issues. Follow the links on the left to read about the various residences, and the staff who work there.
